Brenton D. Hill
Brenton D. Hill (“Brent”) originally joined the firm as an associate in 2009. After leaving the firm in 2012, Brent spent over a decade working as a trust officer, representing banks and trust companies acting in their fiduciary capacities as trustee and/or executor. The majority of Brent’s time in the trust business was spent at First Financial Trust in Abilene, where he rose to the level of Senior Vice President before returning to the traditional practice of law in 2023.
Brent re-joined the firm in April 2024, where his practice now focuses on estate planning, probate, trust administration, business and commercial law, entity formation and governance, and oil and gas matters.
Brent lives in Abilene with his wife and two children, where he is highly active in the community—being named one of Abilene’s top 20 professionals under the age of 40 by the Abilene Chamber of Commerce. Active on a number of boards, Brent currently serves as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Abilene Bar Association, Past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Global Samaritan Resources, Vice Chair of the Salvation Army Abilene Advisory Board, and Vice President of Finance for the Board of Frontier Texas.
