Thomas M. “Mike” Murray joined McMahon Surovik Suttle, P.C. in 2010 as an associate in its Business Transactions practice group and became a shareholder in the firm in 2012. With a diverse and robust practice, Mr. Murray focuses on Oil and Gas, Energy, Natural Resources, and Real Estate law. He also practices in Banking & Finance, Business and Commercial Law, Construction, Eminent Domain, Estate Planning & Probate Law, Litigation and Appeals, Probate and Estate Trust Administration, and State, Local, and Municipal Law.
Mr. Murray earned a Bachelor of Arts from Baylor University in 1993, followed by a Master of Arts in 1995. He then attended St. Mary’s University School of Law, graduating magna cum laude in 2004. Prior to joining McMahon Surovik Suttle, P.C., Mr. Murray worked as an oil and gas attorney at Cox & Smith in San Antonio and as counsel to a regional title company, gaining extensive experience in both the legal and energy sectors.
Active in professional and community organizations, Mr. Murray is a member of the Oil, Gas, and Natural Resources and Real Estate, Trust, and Probate Sections of the State Bar of Texas. He is also a Director of Big Country CASA and is involved in Beltway Park Baptist Church and local youth sports activities.
