Lauren Coursey joined McMahon Surovik Suttle in 2024 as an associate attorney. She is a skilled attorney with a diverse practice, including Real Estate, Oil and Gas, Energy Law, Commercial Litigation, Construction Law, Creditor’s Rights, and Bankruptcy Law. Lauren’s comprehensive understanding of these complex areas of law allows her to provide thoughtful and strategic legal solutions for her clients.
Originally from Boerne, Texas, Lauren earned her B.S. in Agricultural Business from Texas Tech University in December 2020, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She continued her legal education at Texas Tech University School of Law, where she was a standout student and graduated in May 2024 as a member of the prestigious Order of the Coif, an honor reserved for the top graduates of her class.
Outside of her legal work, Lauren is passionate about live country music, hiking, traveling to visit family and friends, and gardening. She is an active member of the Abilene Bar Association and Abilene Young Professionals, and she is committed to community service. Lauren volunteers at Bethel Assembly of God Church and with the West Texas Fair and Rodeo, further strengthening her connection to the local community.
